Mecanics

Designing and developing major research infrastructures
The LAPP’s mechanics department is responsible for the technical developments needed to build the physics experiments to which the laboratory contributes. Its remit extends beyond mechanics, as its teams carry out multidisciplinary projects covering mechanics, automation, instrumentation, vacuum, mechatronics, cooling systems, composite materials and optics.
